Owner Rakib has lots of experience as a restaurateur, working all over the UK since he was 18. In the past, his Indian restaurants have served many celebrities - including Billy Connolly, Ewan McGregor, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, and York's very own Dame Judi Dench! We have added a few photos of some of our celebrity visitors here at the Mumbai Lounge - actors Sean Wilson and Eden Taylor-Draper, renowned architect Dr James Simpson OBE, and a number of top snooker players including Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry and Dennis Taylor.
